9th General Assembly in Zamboanga Postponed

In consideration of the on-going military operations in Basilan and Sibugay, we regret to inform you that the 9th General Assembly is POSTPONED. Zamboanga City's peace and order situation is normal but the military and police are on red alert status and tight security measures are in place.

The schedule is moved on January 26-28, 2012.

Understanding that some of the delegates have booked their flights already, we are currently coordinating with the Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific to consider waiving our delegates? rebooking fee. We will inform you as soon as we get their response.

Pangasinan Mayor Libunao Receives International Award

Municipal Mayor Irene F. Libunao [Page 31] of San Fabian, Pangasinan has been selected by The International Alliance of Women (TIAW) as one of the recipients of the 2011 World of Difference 100 Awards.

Mayor Libunao is being recognized by the TIAW because of her outstanding commitment to honing the entrepreneurial skills of 5,000 women members of the Pangasinan Council of Women, Inc. (PCWI) – San Fabian Chapter, which she is a president.
